Ta Prohm Permanence.

Ta Prohm

The trees grew back over the temple walls at Ta Prohm, Cambodia. During its 700 year hibernation nature returned to this beautiful Wat. Hiding in its thick jungle cloak the earth breathed its own beauty back over our best human efforts.

Today, rudely pulled out of its slumber, and laid bare for close examination. It is now pulled, prodded, stroked and snapped by tourists in bright lycra polyester mix. Make a V sign and smile.

The temple now stands as a question mark for permanence, which reality will endure ? In 2714 how will our temples be understood, or will nature have taken its course ?
