The rise of, and obsession with, Facebook continues to fascinate me. The popularity of this vile medium seems to bring together neurological reward circuits with socio-cultural subculture membership processes. Facebook is an extreme experiment in brain enculturing. So, I checked out what the guys over at Neuroanthropology.net (love that blog) had to say. It seems that they are more interested in the dubious ethics of Facebook, however I’m sure that there’s some interesting Evolutionary Psychological analysis of Facebook to be done.
